RE: Jinlun history

Well, until a couple months ago I had never heard of a Jinlun motorcycle but I´m happy to share what I have learned. Jinlun is a chinese made bike manufactured by CIXI KINGLING motorcycle co. It appears that most of their business is in street legal scooters. As far as I know they are still in business. The JL250 motorcycle I own seems to be a good little machine. I´ve taken a few rides on it but the previous owner tried to do some electrical work on it but he knows absolutely nothing about it. So now I am re-wiring the whole bike! As far as performance...It moves pretty good for what it is. It has no problem keeping up with traffic in normal driving conditions although you won´t win many races on it. Top speed is about 70 mph. The biggest problem I have is that it´s hard to find any tech info for it. That´s about all I got for now, but when I get it back on the road and ride some more in the spring I´ll come back with an updated review and pics. I figured I might as well do some paint and body work since I´ve got it all apart! See ya in the spring!
