You can tell a Phoenix Edition Honda VT 1100 by the year and the colors. They were only made in 1993 (1500 of them). The tank and fender colors were black with white inlays bordered with a red pin stripe. I know this for a fact because I own one. It is the only one I´ve ever seen and is quite a bit faster than a stock VT 1100 and apparently a rare bike. I have seen others with my paint scheme, but never a 1993. The biggest difference is in the cylinder heads. They have 4 valves instead of 3 as a normal VT 1100 has. Hope this helps someone out someday.
