Due to a recent health issue, I was unable to ride my Harley at all for 18mos. I switched out the battery and drained the old gas and put fresh premium into tank. The problem is that after warming the bike up for a while with the choke open, I attempt to close the choke, apply gas and it just shuts off. Have attempted several times, and am getting the same result. Is it possible that since I was unable to ride for so long, the fuel filter must also be replaced? Am dying to get back out there but canĀ“t even get my Harley out of the garage. Please advise.
