G´day Tony , someone has most likely answered this for you . If not , I´m a new member to the group & can explain for you . The ellectrically operated front forks you speak of is refered to as the NEAS system . The EAS bit stands for electronic antidive system . Which operates through the headlight relay & activated by the front brake lever through the inbuilt tailight switch . If your looking for service info you need to check the factory manual sect. 5-23 & 6-20 . To see their reel effect , try disconnecting them & you will notice approx. double the amount of front end dive under brakes . Hope this helps , for any tech info plse contact . Regards Mark .
