Missing/Misfiring cylinder |

Hi! I purchased a 1980 Honda CB 900 custom in Aug of last year. It had been sitting for about 6 months in someones garage. It only had 14000 miles on it when I bought it. It now has 16000 miles on it. It had been running quite well although the idle was at 2000 rpm instead of 1500. I was riding to work on Saturday and suddenly number 1 cylinder began misfiring and back firing. I thought it might have gone on reserve a bit early as I was losing power and dropped 500 rpms. I switched to reserve and there was no change. Upon examing the engine, found number 1 cylinder was only luke warm and the other three were hot. Could this be HT leads, or coil break down? It any one has experienced this, please let me know Thanks |
