The simplest answer to this problem is a loose battery terminal at battery or at main fuse block not allowing the battery to charge, eventually the stator hasnĀ“t volts to function and shuts it all down. I excorsized this problem by replacing battery (4 years old) then rectifier first, but continued until I replaced the stator/signal generator. Ricks Motorsport has good products at less than half of OEM.
