Is this the right bike for me ???

Hi all was looking for a bit of advice here , i just passed my das and am thinking of buying a 97(P) 600F the bike looks in real good condition no dents or any obvious repair work that has been done any way the guy wants 2 grand for the bike which seems a really good price (it has 28,000 miles on it )he also tells me that it is a really good first bike bike , i rode a cb 125 for a few years so i have a bit of experiance on the road but i am wondering if this bike is maybe a bit to big for me ??? plz advice folks thank you .
