What do you think of the XLX for a woman/beginner? I have an XLX and have ridden it but am very intimidated by it. I just passed the MSF course and was thinking of getting something like Kawasaki 500 vulcan to practice on. Should I stick with the XLX or start lower.

p.s. I know what you mean about not taking this bike on the long haul. My husband and I took this to Sturgis from California. That was quite a marriage tester!
