I have just bought a cbr600 and previously had the vfr 400 (NC30). The engine on these bikes is spot on and well worthing paying out for. i paid 1700 for mine 2 years ago but it will probably only sell for 1000 because of its condition. my philosophy was that this was worth it because of the amont of fun it was. I have just rode it for the last time because my insurance ran out and i came back wishing that i was keeping it. An EXCELLENT bike if you buy it you will have a lot of fun and i found it to be very safe. Can be expensive and hard to find parts but it is well worth it. I didnt have any trouble with the engine despite constant everyday all weather all use. i dont feel as safe on the cbr as the VFR because it sticks to the ground like a dream(i would reccomend a good set of race tyres). I hope this has been of some help. safe riding!
