I just recently bought my FLHTC from a very avid Harley rider who had over the last two years had gone completely through this bike. He sent the motor to Milwaukee to have it remanufactured in 2005. all oil as fuel lines were replaced as well. In 2006 he replaced; the brake rotors, pads, stator, voltage regulator, starter, and put new Avon Venom tires on the bike as well. I have had several bikes over the years and due to some disability issues, I felt it was time to get a more comfortable ride. I would be very interested in any information that folks can share that will help educate me about this bike. Over the last 25 years I had two FXE´s that I really enjoyed, My aim was to get a bike with air ride suspension to protect my back from as much vibration and shock as possible. |
