My ole´ man was killed on his 1997 Harley Softtail. I went to court yesterday to witness against the man who killed him. The man used the defense that he must have not had his headlights on and that is why he didn´t see him and pulled in front of the bike. Am I correct that the lights come on automatically when the bike is started? And, FYI, the judge found the man not guilty based on no headlight. If I am correct, I believe my next step would be a civil wrongful death suit. Thanks in advance for any comments or help you can give me.
