Hi there I think the only difference with the tanks is the early tanks were more rounded and later were more rectangular shape but the bikes more or less use the same frame as with the rxs100 but I don´t know if that was imported to the us possibly try some breakers here in the Uk I find it quite difficult to locate spare panels for my 1977 1y8 model. Good luck
