| too much fuel can be determined by smell (the fumes will burn your eyes), by sight ( black smoke out of the exhaust) and fouled plugs. The only jets that should need adjusting is the idle mixture as the main metering jet is a fixed orifice that you change out to find the sweet spot. If it runs, rides and is there when you need it, I wouldnt worry too much till you get a better grasp of how it all works together. That engine was designed for leaded gas so running rich will save your valve seats. |
