Just bought a 1974 125 Honda that has sat in a shed for six years, the owner did not seem to know very much about the cycle, when I asked why it had a battery he could not explain, does the battery have to be hot for the ignition to fire?? I cleaned out old gas and sprayed ether in cab no hit, should I just go ahead an replace points and condenser(is ther a solid state ignition replacement??
Need a little help getting it running before I replace tires
Bob
