Bike barking fire, but in reverse help!!! |

ok, I have the left cylinder barking correctly through the exhaust pipe, but the right, barks backwards, through the intake port. Now I have replaced the points, and condensor, and tried to retard, and advance the timing, even tried reversing the coils. With no change. Any body have any ideas? I have pulled the valve adjuster covers, and the valve are moving, and not frozen, AND I have good compression when Im kick starting it. All the gizmos and gadgets are working, yet I cannot seem to correct this issue. My mechanical back ground leads me to think the intake valve isnt fully seating, or am I just heading off the deep end in my thought patterns? LOL Any way, I have no manual yet, working on it, but locally its hard to find a manaual for such an old bike. |
