look for gasket leaks around the head, fuel streaks on the carbs, and oil leaks around the shifter/front sprocket area, and yes it´s a fun bike to ride, this coming from a guy who has been running cbr 600´s on the track and cbr900 /929 and 954 rr´s on the street. Downside.... you must keep up with the maintenance which is time consuming and in short intervals, and in my opinion there are a few mods that really should be taken care of to insure a safer ride.
