Hi there I had no V5C with my Bike, the VIN number is on the frame just beside the oil cooler, you take this number down in full, and another number on the engine casing which will be part of the VIN number but have a few different digits, if you give Harley UK a ring they will tell you everything about the bike and any recalls it is due as mine had a tail light recall which they honour up to 10 years from recall being made. Also DVLA will give you out some info on the bike as well. The H.P. output is on your V5C and you can buy Haynes Manual on line and there are guys selling DVD manuals for 99p on E-bay. I had to get a certificate of conformity from Harley to prove my bike was a UK bike, which cost £100.00,but was worth it as she is on the road now, and the cert told me everything about the bike, which factory it was built in no of the line , and when shipped into Europe etc. Hope this helps. Regards William |
