Hi Johnny, I ride a 2002 XLH 883. My advice? fit a touring screen and comfort seat and that should be it. I have moded the motor on mine to push with the 1200s and it has to be the quickest 883 in my region. Turbo next year. Its a mule and will never break down! It can be tweeked to high heaven and just keeps running. I put 14-15k on it a year. With the right rubber it even loves the corners and scrapes the pegs. I may just pay this baby off and keep it. With all this, when ridden on the cruise the carb still gives me 74mpg!!! She has even gone to 110mph.... although she is rough there... The best of all? I can do all the work on the motor myself!!! Hope this reaches you in time Keep on biking Hex |
