I´m currently looking at a used ´89 Sportster with 15k miles as my first bike and was wondering if there´s anything I need to be concerned with in regards to the Sportsters? It will be used as a daily driver (when not raining) as a commuter 30 miles each way on I95. What kind of MPG ratings do these bikes get? Will the motors maintain reliability with high mileage? I understand both these factors will be different depending on if the bike is stock or modified. I´m just looking for a base line as I´m new to the bike world. Thanks in advance!
