Have riden and owned 9 bikes since I was a teenager- never a Harley. Bought one because of the designed-in low maintenance. No cam chain to wear out, no valves to adjust or buy shims for, fuel injection fires it up every time, no drive-chain to lube/replace,and simple air/oil cooling. Just change the oil/filter, lube the moving bits, keep the parts that need to be clean.... cleaned! So far, I´m very impressed with the quality of the bike. I truly believe this is the last one I´ll need to purchase. The brakes are really nice, the power is decent, and it handles great. Mileage has been a little low,(45-48mpg) but the bike has only 1200 miles on it. It has done well as my daily driver. (38 miles, each way.) I have only two minor beefs with the bike. No helmet lock, and no-one makes a good sized luggage rack for it. (I do grocery shopping, and when I do, I normally bungee a milk crate onto the back of the bike. This one has a rack, but its hard to put the crate on. Otherwise, I´m very happy with it. Got on it the other day, and I think it´s rev-limited to 103mph in top gear.
