just bought a 2000 sportster and looking to upgrade horse power with small budget if possible.. i don´t have the bike at the moment.. getting new tires.. so can´t tell you what has been done to it, but i know it has not had an upgrade on the ignition and it does have aftermarket pipes, 2 into 1, although i don´t know what type they are.. after some experience with harley´s, what ever you do is not as easy as it sounds when at the dealer.. inevitably there needs to be upgrades elsewhere.. and so i thought i would put it out there amongst the well healed and see what comes back.. thanks.. art
