The 06 883 low is one of the lightest bikes from Harley at just over 550lbs. Its a great first bike for anyone and very easy to handle. I own one and have been extremely satisfied with it, a little low on torque and hp which makes it great for beginners... I think u will be satified and willing to upgrade to a bigger bike once you become more experienced! :)
