Hi mate the bike you have sounds like a usa model 125 trail cat mate the ts125 i had never had low / high ratio, its on top of left flywheel caseing, i imagine the s shaped gadget must alternate between 2 front sprockets at a guess one way it drops chain onto small sprocket for off road use then it flips it to a larger sprocket for higher road speed for road use, take left flywheel casing off to see if its faulty, good luck mate, mick
