Hi, new to the discussion group. I just bought a 1974 ts 250 with 4900 miles on it. its been sitting in a warehouse for ten, 15 years? ... i got the owner to part with it for 600$., put new gas in, cleaned the carb, fired right up. Now i got the title put in my name (painstaking process) got plates, gieco insurance (107$ per year).. now my bike is at blue collar motorcycles in delaware getting a check up. and thats it. its a great bike. i had no problems with it..except for ..a sticky clutch one time (broken kick starter was the result) and a time or two found a false netural between 3rd and 4th... but thats it.. and ive read on other fourms that other ts250´s have that issue, but its not really a pressing issue. i´ll have it on the road in a week or two, and will be joining a vintage motorcycle club in the maryland easternshore area asap (reccomendations?) thats it... i love my bike...
