I had a 74 GT 750 that I bought new in ´74 in Tulsa Oklahoma and it would run 140-mph, if you would lay down on it. I meant really lay down on it, ie: put your chin on the speedometer and your feet over hthe the tail lights I had mine up to 140MPH several times.
