Around Australia - 1976/77 |

I rode an GT750L model around Australia in the summer 1976/77 - it never missed a beat, and went on for many many thousands of miles afterwards before being replaced by an RE5 Suzuki rotary. The GT750 was one of the easiest bikes to live with, 110% reliable, unbreakable, and strong. I now have a 1976 GT750A model which I am riding and restoring and enjoy immensely. Top Speed - somewhere around 110 mph on the L model but without a fairing the wind buffeting is so strong it´s difficult to see what the speedo says. |
