First thing I did was get an electronic ingition and upgrade the battery. This will cost,but with only a kickstarter is worth it in my opinion. Look at the fuse box and upgrade this too (I went to radioshack). Take time to go over the wiring harness and be sure to clean and tighten all grounds. At least this is a start....
