hey guys,

So i got a 1975 dt-250 for a restoration project. Got it home and took the head off it.. everything looked nice.. put new gaskets etc on. Pulled up on the gear lever while engine was on the bench and it went into gear very easy. Then i tried to slip it out again.... and it would not come. I thought that i would just wait till i got the chain on rock it and be all good it would slip right out of gear. Only it didnt. So my question is.... what do i do?.. split the gearbox and have a snoop around?. I have never pulled a gearbox before what do i look for?...

Ahhh if i can fix this i think my bike is ready to get a kick over.....
