Start with getting a good spin balance on both front and back wheels. This could reduce the vibration significantly.

The engine is bolted solidly to the frame and it is chain drive. It will never ride smoothly because of this design. There is nothing to insulate the vibration from the frame. Make sure the chain and sprockets are in good condition and adjusted to spec too.

Also, if the front end is longer than stock, go back to the stock length. The longer fork tubes tend to amplify the vibration.

I bought mine new in 1973 so I have tried a few things over the years. Some things worked and some didn´t.

Good luck!
