So I´m considering buying a 1973 XL 250 that seems to be in great shape! Well kept, new street tires etc! Catch being that I would have to Ride it 12 hours from my parents home to where I live. Has anyone taken one of these on a trip that long!? I´d split it up... maybe 4 hours a day... and take back highways that I wouldn´t need to go too fast on. I don´t know, I´m new to the motorcycle world and am just seeking advice. So if anybody checks this... What do you think!?
