remove the seat, remove the gas line that connects both side of the tank, there is a piece of rubber that the back of the tank sits in (where it meets the seat), pull that back using the tab then just lift the rear of the tank and pull back. The front of the tank just sits in two pieces of rubber that is attached to the frame.
