i love my (new to me) bike, but it is stalling. I do tend to ride short distances and my mechanic says that they are not enough to recharge the battery. ok that makes sense. but he also told me i am "lugging" the bike and should be driving it so that the rpms are between 6-9 all the time for this boke.

is this true in your experience? if so then does one have to rev throttle at all times (even in still traffic) to keep rpms up?
