1973 JAWA 250 CALIFORNIAN

Am just rebuilding a 1973 Jawa 250 California. The engine appears quite healthy, and every thing is present. I have a manual for the 250 roadster which indicates that the electrical system is a positive earth. Can anyone tell me if the California model is a positive earth as well please
