James; I don´t recall that my F-9 engine had an oil pump (for the oil/gas mix). if it did, I took it off.. I made up five gallons of "pre-mixed fuel" when I was racing. I went out today and looked at the Mikuni´s on the 350 Kawi F-9 engine and my 250cc Bultaco Flat-Tracker.. The "Bull" has the 38mm, the Kawi has the 40mm.. As I noted, I did all this "stuff" thirty-four years ago and I was twenty-six when a haybail in front of a fence post "retired" me from racing.. So I can now "legally" claim mistakes as "memory lapses due to old age ;-} Charles. |
