Charles; Thank you so much for the detailed reply. I am not a pro but have always thought the torque´ie Bighorn engine had more potential than it was developed into. I did own three Bighorns, a 1970, 1971 and 1973. Both the 1970 and 1971 had a manufacturing defect in the oil pump which I tried to explain to moma Kaw with no results, except maybe by 1973 they had corrected the problem. There are some good detailsn mild or wild engine mods in a Clymers I purchased recently. BTW they call for a 40mm Mikuni in the wild mods. I would like to keep in touch just in case I ever do realise my pipe dreams.
