Hi, I own a 1991 Cagiva Mito, its the italian import, but is restricted for UK use. i picked it up second hand with 41,500KMS on the clock (circa 25,700 mile) so far i have experienced coolant problems (water pump seal failing, which therefore reqiured a gearbox flush out) the starter motor bearings and bushes "abused" and the valve on the front tyre is starting to show its age.. reasonably reliable, i couldnt tell you the MPG / OCR i havent rode it long enough, if u like loud nippy attention seekers this is your bike, personally though im kinda too old and too big for a mito, now (hey im 20 years old, 5ยด 8" 14st (ish)) but the old mito is a different breed to the new (1996-on) having being styled differently and in 2000 recieving a new mill (6 spd instead of 7) but the newer mitos have been known to fail within the 1st 12k if not properly looked after, personally, i think a few extra bhp would seriously do the mito alot of good, its a good bike, bit over priced but hey thats the 125cc market thru and thru in the UK :)
