well, my bike had a price of 250.000 SIT last year (that´s 1100 Euro). it was in a good condition, but with some failures (Low Fuel control lamb didn´t work because the failure in an instalation, RAVE valve was working too slow), but otherwise it worked well, could reach 170 kph with ease (at any 100-meter straight run), its top speed was 185 kph (Giannelli silencer + larger air intake). few months ago it seized, and i fixed it with the piston of a cross bike (25 gramm lighter, but it needed some work on it to become compatible), and increased the compression ratio from 14:2 to 17:1 (it has the new version of engine, with 34 mm carburettor), and this should theoretticly increase the power from to 42 HP (the stock one has 34 HP). ran well, with preciser response, decreased vibrations (although before it ran almost with no vibrations too), but the acceleration was much better!! no matter which 250cc bike was in front of me (except RS 250 :) ), i could be faster. but it seized again after 4000 km, the piston had too much clearence, and it broke. well, now i have the original piston again, but i have one piston ring only (the other one is broken), so the engine doesn´t work. i have to get another one. :(
