Cant get the bike to idle

Cant get the bike to idle

All,

I recently got this great bike. Yamaha FZR600 (1994). Im new to the world of biking and would like some advice. the guy I bought from was on the up and up and has been very helpful. While there he started the bike right up and let it run idle for quite a while. I´ve been consulting many of the guides on the net and I cant find any of the signs of a \\
