I bought my eliminator in 1994, and it was my first street bike. I absolutely loved it. I have continued to ride it year after year. I have been looking to purchase a larger bike, but nothing seems to suit me. I have never had any major problems with it; I have replaced the tires, 2 clutch cables, an oil seal behind the front sprocket, and changed the oil every 3000 miles. I have added a set of saddlebags, a windshield, and a tool pouch under the headlight. It has been a wonderful experience owning my eliminator, and i would never sell it. My grandmother bought be the bike before she died, and it is very sentimental to me. I would like to buy forward controls, and possibly a more comfortable seat. If you know of any sources to purchase aftermarket parts please let me know. I have rode my bike on several long trips, and it handles great. I rode from kentucky to the great smoky mountain national park last fall and got some great pictures. This spring i am riding to cleveland ohio to see some area attractions, and some future summer trips include daytona beach, charleston s.c. , and mammoth cave in ky. Just because the bike is small, it dosent stop me from seeing the world! I would love to hear from any eliminator owners!
