HI,BARRY FROM MASTERTON MOTORCYCLES,WE HAVE 2 JAPAN IMPORT 95 96 XJR 1200,BOTH HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM.SOMETIMES THE BIKES WILL NOT REV PAST 6700 RPM IN ANY GEAR.MOST TIMES THE BIKES RUN PERFECTLY.6700 IS 180 KPH IN TOP GEAR.BOTH BIKES ARE FITTED WITH 180 SPEED LIMITERS.THE PROBLEM IS DEFINETLEY ELECTRICAL & HAVE CHECKED ALL CONNECTIONS,ANY HELP MUCH APPRECIATED.
