I know this post is 3 years old but going to answer it anyways. I own a 1980 Kawasaki KZ1300 B2 Touring model. Good bikes but if you get one, be sure the engine is not locked up. Crank it over to be absolutely sure but don´t start it. You will need to replace the CCT on these machines if it has not been started in awhile BEFORE attempting to get it running. If you don´t, well you could lose the engine. Otherwise parts still can be had for it at a prem price. If you get a complete bike, that is half the battle. Rest assured that this bike is a powerhouse and a monster. Not lightweight by any means. I have over $3,000 invested in mine, and I don´t regret it. My bike is a naked KZ 1300 meaning the touring package is off the machine. I do have the package but in the process of doing some restore work. In the meantime, I´m enjoying riding it on the local roads. Good luck in getting one if you haven´t already.
