The site mostly lists KZ1000 bikes with minimal attention actually given to the 81-83 KZ series (550-750). This was a weird transition for Kawasaki as they were transforming to the GPZ and contrary to rumors, not all GPZ are fuel injected. I believe they began that journey in 1983. Anyway, in 1986 I purchased my first dragon, a 1983 GSll00ED and was hooked. However, in 1998, with the birth of my first son, I had to give it up along with chewing tobacco. Have not chewed since but have added a new addition to the family. My baby dragon, 1983 KZ550. I have done a few tasty mods that I love on all carbed bikes. See video. Take care. Brendan
