My fuel pump runs fine when connected directly to 12 Vdc. Also, when the (black OEM) connector to the pump (2 wires) is disconnected and the connector from the fuel pump Relay is connected to a volt meter, the relay appears to work properly too. With key on, when ignition is switched to on, the volt meter will show 12 Vdc for 5 seconds (just like it should). NOW THE WEIRDNESS… when the black 2-wire connector is re-connected (even using jumpers to bypass the black connector) the ignition switch ON only makes the relay click click once, but 12 Vdc does NOT get to the pump (ie. Pump does not run). What could be the price problem?
