| I´m brand new on this list. I´m basically a Honda guy but it appears that the Yamaha Virago 250 wins hands down for my wife to learn on from what I´ve read on the web. And it appears that it gets fantastic gas mileage too. It appears from the photos that I have seen for an XV250 that is for sale that it hss shaft drive. I can´t believe that such a small bike would be produced with shaft drive. Am I just seeing things (in the photos)? Any guidance on the wisdom of purchasing a 1995 Virago 250 for my wife would be greatly appreciated. Any comments about the bike itself are also welcome.
