Some questions on the Sprint |

I´ve recently acquired a cracking example of the Sprint with less than 10k miles on the clock. It needs new tyres, which accroding to the Haynes manual should both be 17", but my rear (if you´ll pardon the expression) is an 18". Is this right? As in the comment from John above, I too find the front too soft, and wonder whether heavier fork oil might remedy the nose dive when looking at the front brake? I also like to carry the good lady on the back (when the wife´s not looking [only kidding dear!!!]), and would appreciate ideas on king/queen seats or alternatives, rack and other luggage carrying equipment, tye choice etc. Your comments would be welcome. |
