Great to hear from another sprint owner on the other side of the world. Sounds like you are getting great fun and value out of your bike. This is the first non-jap bike I´ve owned and I love it. Sounds like you are getting better economy than me. After changing sprockets, chain and oil my economy improved about 15%. Presently getting 38MPG (imperial gallons) or 32 MPG (US gallons) - thats 7.5 litres per 100 km. If you are getting 40 MPG (US gallons) I´d be keen to know how you do it. Do you service your own bike? What sort of pipes do you have on the bike? I´ve had this bike for about ten months and it came with some carbon fibre mufflers that are pretty much straight through and a bit more noisy than I´m used to, but handy to scare kangaroos and straying stock off the road. I´ve serviced the bike when I initially got it but didn´t have to change the valve shims, thankfully. It sounds like I have the lower screen, didn´t know you could get a higher one, will have to look for one. Cheers
