not long back did a 1500 mile burn to see ma and my bro´s for a few days...travellled down thru the (mostly empty) Highlands of Scotland, great roadds, just about the best you´ll get over here in the British Isles...long, smooth and relatively quiet stretches of highway, onto the busy and stifling motorways that run down the west side of England, the M6 and M5, chock full of usual motorway traffic, big artic rigs, tourists, sales reps bombing about trying to meet their targets for the month, etc etc, the (s)trumpet just ate them all up...so easy to cruise 90mph, effortless really...didn´t drink any oil, got not a bad mileage figure - high 40´s i´d guess, but the important grin factor was ever present ( noted by flies in teeth - sign of a happy biker!!) could have ridden on and on..well i guess i´m gonna have to now...can´t stop, addicted to the shindig ( to paraphase the chilli´s...ride safe, be free
