Guys, I´ve got my hands on a ´95 KLX 650 that seems to be running well. There´s one problem I´ve noticed over the past months and need some off road thumper advice from someone. Every 250 miles (400KM) I need to add roughly 0.5Kg of oil. I feel this is not a good thing. I bought the bike with a dodgy 11000 miles (17000 KM) on the clock and now suspect that piston rings need taking care of. I´m using a 15/50 sinthetic oil and don´t want to go to a 20/50 even if it is kind of warm here where I´m at as I´m told that a more viscous oil will damage the clutch. Is this kind of oil consumption normal or what? Cheers from the Med. John
