i have a 1972 amf harley davidson fx 1200...with an electric start added after..the bike is my father-in-laws and has been sitting for 10+ yrs...we are rebuilding the s&s carburator....as it does not seem to be getting any gas..i did cheat start it and it roard to life only to die...that is not a problem as the carb rebuild should fix that issue...however...i did notice that the oil sump spewed oil all over our garage floor and i am wondering how bad this is for the bike.

question #1..is this just because the oil has settled to the sump over the years???

#2. is this a sign of gasket leakage???

#3 does this require a engine rebuild???

any help would be appreciated.
