HELP - how do I start this thing? It´s my dad´s

Help - bike just arrived yesterday and I have no clue how to start it. I just want to start it every day or two before I get brave enough to ride it so it doesn´t sit too long. I am taking a weekend riding course before I try to ride it (if I am going to drop a bike, I´d rather it wasn´t my dad´s). I know it runs becuase someone put it back together for me before shipping it up here. If anyone can help, my email is vgriffith at gmail dot com.
